Marco Andres Salazar

Marco Andres Salazar (July 15, 1978) passed away June 29, 2023 in his home in Mt. Pleasant.
Missing him eternally will be his close family – both by blood and by heart – and his many loving friends.  Left to carry his torch and his spirit is his beautiful daughter Josephine, into whom Marco pours all the love in the world, and who does her Father proud in every move she makes.
Marco was a giver in so many ways, and touched everyone in his sphere with his art, his music and his unconditional love.  Many left behind will point to the drawings he made that found their way into their heart.  Everybody with whom he shared his time and attention knows of his enormous collection of beautiful songs which live on today and will continue to do so forever.  Look for it.  Ask someone for it.  Listen to it.  It will touch you as it’s touched all of us, and you’ll be better for it.
Please take the goodness that Marco gave to you and gift it forward.  Create art.  Sing your song.  Let those you love know that you love them – sincerely and often.  Add to the world what makes you shine and feel alive.  Give that part of you freely for the world to keep.  It’s the best thing we can do with ourselves.  Let Marco leave that for you.
