Bradley Joy, Jr., 47, of Atalissa, Iowa, died Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Per his request, there will be no services. The Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 North Main Street, Mount Pleasant, IA, is caring for Brad and his family.

Brad was born April 17, 1977 in Iowa City, IA. He was the son of Buck and Connie (Steward) Stines.

For 12 years, Brad was an automobile detailer at Wheelie's Car Lot in West Liberty. He had a longtime love and admiration of all cars. He could tell anyone the make, model and year of any car he saw.

Survivors include 2 children – Neveh Joy and Jacob Joy, both of Atalissa; his mother, Connie Palmer of Atalissa; a brother, Michael Joy of New London, and Brad's longtime companion, Tanya Birkhofer of Atalissa.

His father precedes Brad in death.
