Jennifer Sue Box, 34, died Sunday, October 04, 2015 at her residence of cancer.
A funeral service for Jennifer Box will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, October 9 at the Faith Christian Outreach Church, 1302 East Washington Street, Mount Pleasant. The Reverend Monte Knudsen, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Bonaparte Cemetery, Bonaparte, Iowa. Friends may call from 12 Noon to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 North Main Street, Mount Pleasant. The family will be present to receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday evening.

Jennifer was born April 28, 1981 in Iowa City, IA. She was the daughter of Michael Joseph and Sharon Esther (Stevens) Box. On Sept. 24, 2010 at Saunders Park in Mt. Pleasant, Jennifer was united in marriage to James Anthony Kazmierczak.
Jennifer was raised in Burlington and was a resident in Burlington until moving to Mt. Pleasant in 2006. She was a homemaker, devoted to raising her children. She was honored to be a blood donor often. In her spare time she listened to music, played bingo and collected butterfly memorabilia. Above all, she was a people person who enjoyed being near family and friends.
Those thankful for sharing in Jennifer's life include her husband, James Anthony Box of Mt. Pleasant; 5 sons - Tanner Michael Box, Donovan James Box, Anthony James Box and Joseph Aedan Box all of Mt. Pleasant and Preston James DeCoursey of Burlington; her mother and step father - Sharon & Dennis Detrick of Mt. Pleasant; her father & step mother, Michael & Marilyn Box of Burlington; her siblings - Michael Box II, Natalie Cabrera-Acosta and husband Mauricio, Brittany Miller and husband Brad and Samantha Ferch and husband Nick, all of Mt. Pleasant and Zachary Box and wife Ashley of West Burlington; her paternal grandparents, Edward & Sally Box of Burlington; her mother-in-law and husband, Delores & Stewart Judd of Burlington; her father-in-law, James Taylor of Delphos, OH, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and step sisters.
A son, Christopher Jacob Odie Box, maternal grandparents, Roger & Susie May Stevens and a maternal uncle, David Wallentine, precede Jennifer in death.
